There are hundreds of destinations that you can book at, ranging from private homes at golf resorts such as Zimbali, Selborne and Pinnacle Point, to hotels such as the Arabella Hotel & Spa, Fancourt Estate Hotel & Spa.  We are confident you will find a great destination to match your interests and your pocket.

What discounts do I get on MoreGolf Getaways?

Discounts range from 10%-60% on the rack rate, and many of our local golf packages include FREE golf.

Who can book accommodation via MoreGolf Getaways?

Any member of the World of Golf, Golf Village or playmoregolfSA can book a stay with MoreGolf Getaways.  From time to time, specials will also be offered to The Pro Shop customer base.

What does it cost to become a member of MoreGolf Getaways?

Membership of MoreGolf Getaways is FREE to all World of Golf, Golf Village or playmoregolfSA members.  All MoreGolf Getaways members have the option of upgrading to Buxola Breaks, for a wider range of travel offers at the guaranteed lowest rates.  To upgrade, simply sign up online now.

How much will my golf cost me when I book a stay at one of the golf estates?

Depending on which resort or estate you choose to stay at, golf may be included in your package price or you may qualify for a special discounted rate - ask your agent when you book your stay.

How many beds in each bedroom?

This varies from resort to resort.  You can find out by clicking on each resort listing, or ask the agent when you are booking for details around the bedroom configuration.

How many nights do I have to book?

This varies from resort to resort and is dependent on season.  The general rule though, is a minimum of 2 nights, particularly over weekends.  In high season, you may need to book a full week, depending on the resort.  Please ask the agent when you are booking for details.

How many guests can a member invite?

You can invite as many guests as the unit can accommodate, at the discounted rate.  Please confirm numbers when you make your booking.  You may also book additional units but they will be charged at a higher rate.

How do I cancel a booking?

You may cancel a booking by calling 0861 752 966.  Different resorts have different cancellation policies and your agent will be able to advise you when you call in.  You may have to pay a cancellation fee, depending on how far in advance you wish to cancel.  In some instances, you may forfeit the full amount.

When I book, do I need to pay a deposit?

In most instances, your trip will only be confirmed once full payment has been received. However, there are a few resorts which will accept a 50% deposit to secure your booking and the balance is payable a certain number of days before check-in.

How much will the trip cost me?

The rates you will find on the website are to be used as a guideline only, and are subject to change due to availability, season, as well as any unforeseen circumstances.  They are generally for accommodation only, unless otherwise stated.  All extras such as transport, lunches, drinks, telephone calls, laundry, golf carts, caddies are not included in the package.  The golf prices also vary.  As mentioned previously, every booking carries an administration fee of R50 (incl VAT) per person.  Your agent will be able to confirm the correct rates as well as any inclusions at the time of booking.

What is the children’s policy?

Children are always welcome.  However, the policy on children varies from venue to venue, so please enquire at the time of booking, or check the children’s policy of the specific resort on the website if booking online.

Do I need a handicap to book and play at any of the golf estates?

On most occasions the answer is no.  What it does mean is that you may have to pay a premium or visitor rate to play golf.  It may also mean that you may not get access to any competitions that may be played.  Please contact us on 0861 752 966 or that particular golf estate to find out more.

How do I pay?

You can pay by credit card, EFT or direct deposit.  Proof of payment to be scanned and emailed to enquiries@moregolfgetaways.co.za or faxed to 086 575 5402

How can I be assured of the guaranteed best price?

Due to the unpredictable nature of the leisure industry, and hotels operating on the best available rate of the day, there may be some instances where you’ll find a cheaper rate directly with the hotel.  In this instance, we’re more than happy to pay you the difference, on a like-for-like basis.
